In
the context of Biblical community, Sunday School classes connect
individuals to Christ and to one another, developing and training mature
disciples of Jesus Christ.
Below is a listing of the classes available on Sunday mornings and a general description. Classes
are open to everyone, yet some classes are more age-based to better
minister to individuals at different stages in life.
Common Grounds
Room Location: Room 101
Know what you believe and why! This class focuses on sound teaching and
lively discussion on the core beliefs that go right to the heart of the
Christian faith and provide "common ground" for those who follow
Christ. This class is open to adults of all ages. The class is led by
Chris Baker, Jeff Drake & Dan Landt.
Word Connection
Room Location: Room 103
This class provides challenging in-depth studies of Scripture with
application for engaging today's culture. This "Word connection"
provides the bridge to healthy, spiritual growth. This class is geared
for those adults who are ages 40 and up. The class is led by Steve
Hailstone and Jason Davis.
The Upper Room
Room Location: Room 102
This class is devoted to the study of God's Word for those who are in
the "early" days of adulthood. The class is geared for those adults who
are in their 30s and 40s. The class is led by Matt Odgen.
Women's Class
Room Location: Conference Room
This class is for women of all ages. Using a traditional style of
expositional Bible teaching, the class examines God's truth through
Focus, Discovery, and Response using the Bible Knowledge Series for
Scripture Press (c). The class is led by Jan
Barlow & Ginny Fahlgren, and meets in the Conference Room.
Young Adults
Room Location: Room 106
...for those ages 18-27, give or take a few. If you are single or
married, you are invited to be a part of this class. We dive into
discussions on what we believe and why. The class is currently led by Dan Schwartz.
Discovery
Room Location: Room 105
This class is open to all adults of all ages. The class deals with
issues of our day and the biblical standards and truth that are
applicable. The class is led by Chris Christensen and Lane Sattler.
