Individual Music Instruction: 30 minutes, $30; 45 minutes, $42; 60 minutes, $52
Offered: Fall, Spring and Summer Sing Out! Choir Camp Jonathan Eastburn and Rebekah So One-week camp (June 24-28). Student will learn a variety of songs and dances from different genres of American and Ethnic music. Students will also learn sight-singing and music theory. Daily Schedule: 1:00pm- 4:30pm Concert: Friday, June 28, 4:30 pm Ages 12-18 Tuition: $175 (includes materials) Vocal Workshop Esther Kulp Students may choose between 30,45, and 60 minute private voice lessons, during a concentrated four week period. This workshop will culminate in a 90 minute Master Class for all students. Lessons will occur Tuesdays and Thursdays for 4 weeks. Fall and Spring Semester Courses Guitar I Class
For ages 8 and up.
Bring your acoustic guitar for a fun introduction to the joys of playing guitar! Students learn how to hold the guitar, pick, play chords, strum various patterns, figure out songs, and more!

Guitar II Class
Prerequisite: Guitar I.
This course includes chord mastering, strumming-patterns, performance strategies, and an introduction to music theory, bar chords and finger picking. Students wishing to continue after completing Guitar II should register for individual instruction.

Offered: Spring
Intro to Folk Guitar Class For ages 8 and up.
Students will learn to play a simple song within the first few lessons. New songs will be introduced as we build on a vocabulary of basic chords along with finger-picking and flat-picking strumming patterns. In addition, each student will learn proper care and tuning of their guitar.
Introduction to Drums and Rhythm
For students age 10 and up.
This course introduces students to rhythmic concepts and drumming technique. Students will develop foundational stick technique, which is a necessity for any percussionist, whether their interest is in concert ("classical"), rock or jazz drumming. The course will include study of the standard snare drum rudiments, essential to the concert percussionist and drum set player alike.

For ages 6-7.
Small group lessons at the keyboard capitalize on your child’s delight in making music with others. The age appropriate curriculum integrates the keyboard, creative movement, rhythm, singing, and ear training. Because of this It is able to provide a firm, fundamental understanding of the instrument that can be built upon for years to come.

Pre-School Music Foundations For ages 4-5.
This class builds a foundation for music literacy. Students learn to recognize graphic notation in patterns of rhythm and pitch. No homework or practice necessary.
(4-8 students)
Offered: Fall and Spring Introduction to Music Theory
For ages 10-14.
Students explores the foundational concepts of reading and understanding music. Content includes note-reading, scales, triads and cadences.
45-minute class x 14 weeks
Music Theory
Prerequisite: 2 years private music lessons. For ages 15 and up.
This class introduces students to the fundamentals of diatonic harmony through basic composition, ear-training and sight-singing activities, and Dalcroze Eurhythmics. Higher levels emphasize more advanced compositional techniques.

Music Appreciation
This course provides a general overview of the history of Western Music from the Middle Ages to the Twentieth Century. Students are taught how to listen critically to works of music and are introduced to the composers who wrote them.
Introduction to Music History
For ages 15 and up.
This course explores the music and culture of the Western World from the Middle Ages to the Twentieth Century. Students develop critical listening skills as they learn about the major composers and the development in music that occurred during each time period. Students explore the personal and spiritual lives of composers and create compositions reflecting their styles and forms. (3-10 students)
Sight-Singing and Ear Training
For students age 14 and up.
This class develops the aural skills required for the recognition of musical patterns and the singing of musical patterns at sight. Sol-feg is taught as a foundation for scale and interval pattern recognition.
60-minute class x 12 weeks
Rhythmic Movement and Musical Expression (RMME)
For ages 8-14 (Introduction). For ages 14 and up (Levels 1 and 2).
This course employs techniques designed to connect musicians' minds and bodies to enable them to express music to their greatest potential whilst improving attention and concentration. The teaching utilizes rhythmic training to teach essential musical concepts through games of movement, listening and singing.
