Guitar I Class: Kelli Buczek
For ages 8 and older.
Bring your acoustic guitar for a fun introduction to the joys of playing guitar! In this course, students will learn the proper way to hold a guitar, to pick, play chords, strum various patterns, how to play and figure out songs, and more! (Min. 3 students).
Thursdays, 3:15-4:00pm, Annex 2
Tuition: $14 per class
Guitar II Class: Kelli Buczek
For ages 8 and older. Prereq: Guitar I.
This course includes mastering chords, strumming patterns, performance strategies, and an introduction to music theory, bar chords and finger picking. (Min. 3 Students).
Thursdays, 2:30-3:15 pm, Annex 2
After completion of Guitar I and Guitar II classes students who wish to continue may register for individual instruction.
Music Theory I: Heidi Wolfskill
For senior high students with musical training.
Do you wish to compose music or better understand the music you are performing? Enroll in Music Theory I to begin the study of the building blocks of music. This class will introduce students to the fundamentals of diatonic harmony through basic composition, ear-training and sight-singing activities, and Dalcroze Eurhythmics.
Monday, 4:30-5:15pm, Annex 3
Tuition: $18 per class
Music Theory II: Heidi Wolfskill
Prerequisite: Music Theory I or equivalent knowledge.
Building on the principles taught in Music Theory I, this course will explore non-diatonic harmony and will emphasize more advanced compositional techniques. (Max. 5 students).

Group Violin for Beginners: Mary Claire Jensen
Using the Suzuki Violin method and a note-reading book, students will learn posture and playing position, how to read notes, basic rhythms, ear training and music theory skills. (3-4 students).

Rhythmic Movement and Musical Expression (RMME): Karen Burgman, Certified Dalcroze Eurhythmics Instructor
This course employs techniques designed to connect musicians' minds and bodies in order to help them express music to their greatest potential. The teaching centers around rhythmic training to teach essential musical concepts emphasized through games of movement, listening and singing. Throughout the workshops, the exercises aim to connect the musicians to the music in a way that utilizes the physical aspect of rhythm to improve attention and concentration. (6-20 students).

Beginning RMME: 7:00-7:50pm
Advanced RMME: 8:00-8:50pm

MUSIKGARTEN COURSES
MusikGarten's Wind Dancers: Gayle Tuttle
For ages 2-3.
Informal music making lessons for young children include folk-song-based music, movement activities, exciting exploration of instruments and stories to act out and embellish. This child appropriate and fun introduction to music will build a strong sense of rhythm and pitch that will empower musical learning for a lifetime. Quality home materials help caregivers bring music home for the child to enjoy on a daily basis. This course is designed for children and their caregivers to attend.

Tuition: $12 per class
Home materials: $35 (non-refundable)

MusikGarten's At Home and in the World: Gayle Tuttle
For ages 4-6.
This class will establish a foundation for music literacy. It will also expand listening capabilities through introduction of orchestral instruments. It will expand rhythmic capabilities through a weekly drum circle and movement activities. Ensemble work with percussion instruments will build listening skills. Caregivers are welcome to attend.

MUSIC FOR YOUNG CHILDREN COURSES
Music Pups, Mary Claire Jensen, Certified MYC Instructor
For ages 0-4.
Music Pups is an introduction to music for pre-school children, with the emphasis on rhythm and pitch. This course is designed for children and their caregivers to attend. (5-12 children)

Tuition: $15 per class
Home materials: $30 (non-refundable)
Music for Young Children: Gayle Tuttle, Certified MYC Instructor
For ages 5-9.
Prerequisite: To register for Level II, Level I must have been previously completed.
Semi-private piano instruction that builds a foundation for future private study: This age appropriate and hands-on approach teaches the fundamentals of the keyboard through movement, rhythm circles, ear-training and ensemble work. This course is designed for children and their caregivers to attend. (Max. 4 students).
